Figure and Motion: Silhouette


In my Figure and Motion class, we had to create a self-profile silhouette. I started off by taking a full-body picture of myself doing a creative pose that would emphasize my silhouette and give off a sense of emotion, such as happiness or delight. Working in photoshop, I masked out the background of my image, leaving my self-profile, and placed a black fill over it to get the silhouette effect. If I was to change anything, I’d go back and add something to give my silhouette more “liveliness” and make it more alive, rather than  looking flat and plain.
