Interactive Media: Museum Kiosk Documentation

 

Our group’s process included researching a bit about dung beetles, their movements, and how we wanted to portray these characteristics as a video game. I helped in the character design of the dung beetle and dung-ball, as well as the filming/editing of our documentation video. What was revised during beta testing was the max distance for how far you could roll the dung ball, the timer was slowed down a bit, and a new design for the dung beetle was implemented into the game. Some responses we got from users during the installation was about how some portions of the game were a bit glitchy, and we had to figure out a way to keep the roller in the mouse from constantly falling out but we managed to fix these problems before our final installation.
